We are two urban youths named Bharat and Vijay who are determined to revive millets on the contemporary plate in a tasty, sustainable, and natural way.

We started The Grass Family, an e - commerce platform devoted solely to millet-based products, motivated by our mutual love of clean food and conscious living and inspired by our background.  Whether it's healthy grains or creative snacks, we want to make millets cool, easy, and available to everyone, everywhere.

Why millets?  They are nutrient-dense, resilient, climate-smart superfoods that promote the wellbeing of the earth and individuals. The Grass Family links ethically produced, farmer-grown millet goods to conscientious urban consumers who are concerned about the origins of their food.
